Tatoos

Okay, so I see this picture of this girl and she has a tattoo of her name and her boyfriends name on her arm. First thing that comes to mind is WHY? Now, the problem I see with this is that the guy who I have known for awhile has gone through 3 girlfriends within the last year. Now, I don't think that is a reflection of how is treats girls, because I know that he treats them well. From what I gather most of the women in his life leave him high and dry.
I think the main thing is that I don't think that people should put things like that on their body. I mean think about this for a moment. Unless you know for sure that you are going to be with that person for the rest of your life then you should not put something like that on your body. I mean no one knows what tomorrow will bring. Tomorrow you could break up with that person and you will be left with the everlasting memory of that person which can be stored away in your head so that you only think about it maybe once or twice in your lifetime. But, now you have this tattoo on your body that is a constant reminder that you were with this person and you know that you are no longer with that person. Now, you are blessed with the idea that you have to explain to anyone that asked what the tattoo means and you once again get to tell another person about why you got the tattoo. Or perhaps you will just write it down and keep it in your pocket or your purse so that you can just give it to the person that ask so that they can read for themselves the reason for your idiotic idea to put someone else’s name on your arm. Of course, there is always the option to get the tattoo removed. A nice option, but I would not suggest this course of action. I have a friend that is getting some removed that way and he hates it. Aside from the site allergic reaction that he had to the numbing agent that they used it seems to be going nicely. But, with all that come the cost and the treatments that you have to go through to get the tattoo removed. This is why I tell people that I choose me tattoo based on the fact that I am not going to be ashamed of it later when people ask me about them or why I got that particular one. Not to mention that I think tattoo someone’s name on your body is a little trashy, but that's just me...one man's opinion take it with a grain of salt.
